Bengals vs Browns NFL Week 16 Betting Preview
The Cincinnati Bengals travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns as 7.5-point favorites in a Week 16 AFC North battle. Oddsmakers set the total in this one at 47 points. Temperatures are expected to be around 31 degrees with minimal wind (6 MPH) and a slight chance (5%) of precipitation.
The Browns will be looking to get a gross taste out of their mouth after losing by two touchdowns to the Chiefs, while the Bengals kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a win vs. the Titans.

Bengals vs Browns Week 16 Picks
Bengals Moneyline (-370)
I bet this moneyline Sunday Night at -330 and posted the pick to our expert picks section, so we appear to be on our way to a good number. For everyone else who didn’t tail, -370 is still available and I like this game up to -375.
The Browns will be without stud running back Nick Chubb and have demoted Jameis Winston. It’s difficult to imagine a Browns offense without those two pieces keeping pace with Joe Burrow who has been red hot lately. Burrow has 36 touchdowns and 8 INTs this season and he should be golden against a Browns defense which seems to have given up.
Cincinnati’s weakness has been its rezone defense (ranking 31st in the NFL), but the Browns don’t have an offense to exploit that. The Browns rank 13th in redzone offene, but with DTR at quarterback and no Nick Chubb I expect them to struggle inside the 20-yard line.
The Browns ranks 31st in the NFL vs. No. 1 wide receivers and the Bengals have one of the best in the game in Ja’Marr Chase. Chase vs. the Browns secondary is the biggest mismatch on the field in this one and he should have a day.
Bengals vs Browns Week 16 Props
It’s a little too early in the week for a full selection of player props. Check back here later in the week to see my favorite player prop for the Bengals vs Browns.
Bengals vs Browns News
The big news this week was that the Browns will be switching starting quarterbacks and giving Dorian Thompson-Robinson the keys to the offense after benching Jameis Winston.
Thompson-Robinson is mobile, but his passing numbers have been shaky when he’s gotten opportunities throughout his career. DTR has one passing touchdown and seven interceptions with a 51.4% completion percentage for his career.
Also, keep an eye on the practice status of Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett who sustained an eye injury last week.
