College Hockey National Championship Odds Predictions & Analysis
The NCAA Frozen Four odds are here and Boston College is the current favorite at +320.
Last year’s runner-up slides in just ahead of Michigan State (+550), Denver (+600), and Minnesota (+700) in updated college hockey National Championship odds.
The Spartans, whose odds have jumped from +850 to +550 in recent weeks, look like great value to me:

NCAA College Hockey National Championship Favorites
Boston College (+320)
The Eagles’ golden trio of Ryan Leonard, James Hagens, and Gabe Perrault has dominated all season. With those three studs Boston College holds an excellent 22-6-1 record overall and will certainly be picked by the selection committee to make the Frozen Four tournament. Boston College is one of just two teams with over one first-place vote for top Men’s DI team, right now (more on that other team below).
Once in the tournament, BC’s aforementioned trio will be a key threat to win it all. We already saw how devastating the three could be in a tournament setting on the world stage, leading the USA to back-to-back gold medals at the IIHF World Junior Championships, and they can easily show it again.

NCAA College Hockey National Championship Best Bet
Michigan State (+550)
Since the calendar flipped to 2025, MSU has gone 10-3-2, sweeping a good Wisconsin team and splitting against Michigan. That’s an excellent record against some difficult teams — a big reason why the Spartans have risen to the No. 2 team in the latest USCHO.com Men’s hockey rankings. They’re one of just two squads to get more than one first-place vote.
MSU might not have a top line filled with studs like BC, but they’ve got one of the better players in college hockey in Isaac Howard. He’s currently second in NCAA scoring production this year with 23 goals and 46 points in just 34 games.
MSU also enjoys a hell of a good goaltending tandem with Trey Augustine and Luca Di Pasquo. We saw Augustine backstop the Americans to a gold medal at the World Juniors. Di Pasquo is no slouch with a .933 save percentage and 1.70 goals against average as the backup. Either goalie can help Michigan State win the title this year, making them a great value pick at +550.

As you can tell, the NCAA Division 1 hockey national championship has been dominated by the NCHC and Hockey East conferences. They’ve traded the last nine championships.
But, how about Denver?! Ten championships are incredible and three of the last 10 is dominant.
