Why are the Oklahoma City Thunder projected to win the most games?
To achieve an OVER on 64.5 total victories, the Thunder would need to finish the regular season with no more than eight losses over their final 28 games. They entered the All-Star break with a loss to the depleted Minnesota Timberwolves, but did win their seven games prior to that matchup. Oklahoma City has only dropped consecutive outings once in 2024-25 and that was back in November, and with the return of a still rusty Chet Holmgren to the starting lineup, everything is in place for the team to finish with its best winning percentage since coming over from Seattle.
NBA Win total To Monitor: Dallas Mavericks OVER 43.5 Wins (-110)
Injuries are going to catch up with the Dallas Mavericks sooner or later, so while a 4-1 record prior to the All-Star break deserves to be applauded, once action resumes, those absences are going to become infinitely more glaring as teams start jockeying for position in the standings. Anthony Davis will be out of action for at least a month with a groin injury, and fellow bigs Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively II, and Dwight Powell are also sidelined. - OVER 58.5 +100
- UNDER 58.5 -122
The number beside the team name is its projected regular-season win total. In this case, it’s 58.5 for the Boston Celtics. If you think Boston is going to win 59 or more games, you would take the OVER at +100.
