Shara looked great in his last fight at UFC 308, delivering a unique double-spinning backfist KO over Armen Petrosyan. Petrosyan isn’t quite at MVP’s level, but he posed a fair challenge and Magomedov made it look easy.
That said, MVP strikes fear into all his opponents simply because he’s so strange and unpredictable. Shara is a wild man, too, often using kicks like jabs, but MVP has his stripes in this game and holds a serious experience advantage.

How To Bet MVP
I’m a much bigger fan of MVP in this fight. Firstly, his range will be a huge factor. Page boasts a 79-inch reach compared to Magomedov’s 73-inch reach. MVP is also very comfortable switching stances to give his opponent a different look. He’s also been very elusive in his brief UFC career, absorbing just 1.45 significant strikes per minute while striking at a 65% accuracy rate.
Magomedov is very different. He lands at a crazy 6.82 significant strikes per minute but eats 4.49 sig. strikes himself. He’s aggressive and receives punishment for it. So far, Shara Bullet hasn’t been bothered. However, if this fight slows to a crawl, Page will have a crazy advantage. It’d be like a fencing match, with MVP timing his solo strikes and slipping everything that comes back.
I love Venom Page as a moderate underdog at UFC Saudi Arabia.
